Codicological description

We do not know if the manuscript had a title and to whom it was addressed because the Queriniano D II 21 is mutilated and nowadays only 36 “carte” (folios) of 316-236 mm. (writing space mm. 218-163) are left of the more than 48 of the original. Before the mutilation someone numbered the folios in the upper right corner. The ruling (rigatura a secco) created lines up to 46, for a writing space between 38 and 42 lines. The structure of the sections mutilated is conceivable by referring to the two derivative manuscripts Quer. VII B 21 and Ambr. I, 88 sup.
