The “estravaganti poems”

The two “estravaganti poems” transcribed in MS Queriniano D II 21 were originally included by Solerti among Petrarch’s Rime disperse di Francesco Petrarca o a lui attribuite (Solerti 91 and 181) with the number 20 (Per utile per dilecto et per honore ) and 90 (O monti alpestri o cespogliosi mai). The poems have been questioned by recent criticism as falsely attributed to Petrarca (Pacca 77). In any case they do not belong to the history of the Rvf (Feo, “In vetustissimis cedulis” 136).
